1. Restore Point
My 1st tip in the fix a slow computer series.
Before doing anything to your computer to speed it up
or increase it’s performance, you should create a Restore Point.
Basically Windows has a Restore utility that allows you to take
a snap shot of your computer system. If you are about to install
some software or change something to help your systems speed,
you should realize that things could go wrong. Creating a Restore
Point gives you a chance to roll back any un-welcome changes.
It also backs up your registry files for you. The Windows Registry is
a ket component of Windows. If it gets messed up you computer
could be crippled and you will be glad you have a backup. To create
a Restore Point go to Windows Help and Support and search for Restore.
It is simple to create, Do it NOW!
